2011 Farm and Forest Exposition, Febuary 4 & 5, 2011
The Farm & Forest , held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester NH, was a huge success. .
The New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Growers Association booth was very active passing out samples of cooked lamb, both kabobs marinated in Ledgetop Maple BBQ Sauce and two different types of lamb sausage. The aroma of lamb cooking brought lots of people to the booth where we promoted our lamb producers by passing out many business cards, as well as, a list of members who have shown they have lamb available on the membership card. The taste of the lamb also enticed many of the public to by our Association cookbook "Living Off the Lamb."
Wool demonstration were ongoing throughout the two days, with many of our members spinning, carding, needle felting and making pipe cleaner lambs. This attracted many people who ask questions, visited and just watched in amazement.
Thank you to all of our members who participated, it takes over thirty people to do what we do, and each and everyone is an asset.
